At MuGot and on the road leading to the Giogo Pass are three important monuments commemorating acts of heroism and the Allied casualties during the battles of September 1944.

On the battlefield, at the Giogo pass, some German defense positions have been restored. They were part of the Gothic Line defense system. It is also possible to find the remains of American foxholes in the surrounding woods.

MuGot is all new.
A thorough renovation of the premises has made the museum more welcoming and attractive, a necessary operation to improve the visitor experience, comfort and atmosphere of the place.
This has been possible thanks to the enthusiasm and skills of the volunteers of the Tuscan Gothic Association, who have achieved an excellent result.
